Lasers For Vascular Lesions

           - Pulsed dye laser

           - KTP laser

           - Broadband light sources

Three types of pulsed laser systems are available for vascular lesions: the pulsed dye laser including the long pulsed dye laser, the potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) lasers and the broadband light sources. The broadband light sources is not really a laser but works on similar premises.

Suitable usage of the lasers for vascular lesions mentioned above are in treatment of vascular lesions such as hypertrophic port-wine stains, facial telangiectasia and leg veins.
